See Lady Gaga’s long black hair

Fresh from her performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics on the Seine, Lady Gaga switched up her signature platinum blonde hairstyle and debuted a new inky black look. In a new Instagram post, she shared three photos showing her in a long cheetah-print coat and striking white sunglasses. Underneath the eye-catching outerwear, she wore a black outfit and her signature sky-high platform shoes.

Gaga captioned the post with a simple—and cryptic—TV emoji, perhaps announcing an upcoming project, music video release, or performance. At this point, no one knows for sure.

She’s had black hair (and pretty much every other hair color) in the past, but it’s been a long time since she switched to her favorite blonde.

The hair change comes just before Mother Monster’s new music. According to diversityGaga and Bruno Mars will release a new single called “Die With a Smile” at midnight tonight. In the announcement, both are wearing Western-inspired outfits (and Gaga has an exaggerated, huge hairstyle), but there are no further details about the song yet.

Gaga assured her fans that the new song is not part of an upcoming album, captioning the post, “WHILE YOU WAIT FOR LG7… “DIE WITH A SMILE” a duet with @brunomars ❤️‍🔥.” Gaga had already hinted at the collaboration yesterday when she posted a video of herself in a Bruno Mars t-shirt.
