Did Drake work on a song with Romeo Santos and J Balvin?

Somewhere in a vault there is a song featuring J Balvin, Drake and Romeo Santos. In a recent interview, the Colombian superstar talked about collaborations he recorded that never saw the light of day.

While promoting his new album RayoJ Balvin has given several interviews. In an interview with Los40 Colombiahe was asked about any collaborations he recorded and never released. J Balvin talked about his collaboration with Canadian rapper Drake and Bachata king Romeo Santos called “Pistol In My Head”.

“It didn’t come out (because of) the timing,” J Balvin said in Spanish. “The song is una chimba because it’s Drake, Romeo and J Balvin. I’m going to look for it and see where I have it to show you one day. This collaboration hurts me so much because I’m a superfan of Drake. I’m his biggest fan.”

In the same interview, J Balvin also talked about another collaboration with Ed Sheeran and Daddy Yankee. Last year he announced a joint album with Sheeran, which was never released. J Balvin also talked about the song possibly being put on hold because of Daddy Yankee dedicate one’s life to God.

“Another (collaboration) that hurts me a lot is one I have with Yankee and Ed Sheeran,” he said. “Yankee is clear that he’s going in a different direction now. I’m not going to pester him, but if that song gets hard, that’s hard.”

Although these songs ultimately did not come out, J Balvin recorded many other collaborations for his album Rayo. He reunited with Feid, who was one of his co-authors on energy Album, on the song “Doblexxó.” J Balvin also dabbled in Afrobeats in his collaboration “Stoker” with Música Mexicana star Carin León. Ryan Castro, Blessd, Bad Gyal, Chencho Corleone, Dei Vand Zion were also featured on the LP.
