Charlamagne Tha God claims Drake’s 100GB music drop is a strategic album release

Drake has taken the internet by storm by starting a second Instagram account that calls out other rappers with memes, as well as releasing a whopping 100GB of new and unreleased material.

Fans are closely examining this massive drop, but Charlamagne Tha God said on The Breakfast Club that Drake’s actions were anything but spontaneous.

“That’s the problem. Drake just does his thing,” he criticized, suggesting that Drake lacks direction in his effort to appear casual and effortless.

Charlamagne further explained his theory and said that this could be an elaborate preparation for an upcoming album.

He also mentioned that this might be Drake’s way of testing the waters after his much-discussed fight with Kendrick Lamar.

“This is clearly an introduction,” he explained, suggesting that Drake was keen to gauge public sentiment.

In addition, Drake’s recent activities point to numerous upcoming projects.

He has hinted at collaborations with artists such as Young Thug, Latto and 21 Savage and even announced a joint album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, which is due to be released in the fall.

Additionally, there are rumors of a possible European tour centered around Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” diss as the theme, which is also evidenced by merchandise titled “No One Likes Us 2024” found on his latest release.

Despite previous criticism, Charlamagne expressed his confidence in Drake’s current path.

“Drake, you’re fine,” he assured, reflecting on the dynamics and productivity of recent rap battles, which he described as the best he had ever experienced.
