Lady Gaga has taken a break from her bleached hair and showcased her darker hair in an Instagram carousel. The 38-year-old singer and songwriter shared a selfie showing off her transformation.
The singer’s photos come hours after she shared a video of herself in an oversized gray T-shirt with Bruno Mars.
The Latino singer also honored Gaga by wearing a T-shirt. The pair immediately fueled rumors of a musical collaboration.
Shortly after, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars confirmed the news and announced their theme song “Die with a Smile.” Gaga also shared that their duet comes with a music video and will premiere on August 15 at 9:00 p.m. PT.
The announcement came on the heels of Bruno’s three thrilling performances at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico. Bruno signed off with a beautiful video that celebrated Mexico’s rich culture and incorporated elements such as Lucha Libre and Mariachi music.
In the video, Bruno Mars is dressed in a white suit with Mexican embroidery, sitting in front of a mirror and holding a golden Lucha Libre mask. While the sounds of “I’m going to Mexico to fiesta” play in the background, Mars puts on the mask and the scene changes to a cheerful stroll through Mexico City. Accompanied by his musicians, who are also wearing traditional Mexican clothing, Mars dances and sings.
The gesture was further enhanced by the heartfelt message he wrote alongside the video, expressing his deep affection for the country. “Thank you, Mexico City, for three beautiful parties. I was able to live a childhood dream and be a fighter for a day. I love you so much, Mexico. I love you so much. Enjoy this success until I return!” wrote Mars, signing “Your Brunito.”
