HoYoverse has announced the anniversary rewards for Genshin Impact update 5.0 to celebrate the release of Natlan and the game’s upcoming fourth anniversary. The highlight of this year’s rewards package is that players can choose one 5-star character from the game’s standard banner for free.
What’s more, this reward isn’t exclusive to version 5.0—the developers have promised to make this feature a permanent part of future anniversaries as well, allowing players to fill gaps in their character rosters.
For Update 5.0, players can choose one of the following 5-star characters for free:
Version 5.0 anniversary rewards include ten free pulls for the limited bannerstransmitted during the update through a login event.
In addition, players can expect to find an in-game mail with various rewards. Among them is a completely new item type introduced in Update 5.0 – the Elixir of Consecration. This is an extremely valuable material that allows players to craft any artifact and determine not only its main stat, but also two of its secondary stats.

Finally, the developer will reset the reload bonus once again, allowing players to receive additional currency when purchasing a pack from the in-game store.
Genshin Impact 5.0 banners will come with three exciting characters: Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina, so be sure to grab what you can for free. Version 5.0 will be released on August 28, 2024.
