How to gain and use reputation in Diablo 4

There are six ways to gain reputation. Each method gives you a certain amount of reputation:

• Activate Waypoints – 20 Views
• Clear Fortresses – 100 Reputation
• Completing a side quest – 30 reputation
• Explore an area – 5 views
• Complete a side dungeon – 40 reputation
• Activate an Altar of Lilith – 10 reputation

The reputation of a region is continue to accumulate and will not disappearwith rewards unlocked after certain benchmarks are achieved in each region. Renown is earned based on the region in which the above activity takes place. To check your total reputation in a region, open the map and select the “View Rewards” option in the top right of the screen. The following screen will show each region’s current total reputation and allow you to claim rewards when they have been earned. The final two reputation ranks can only be earned by unlocking and playing at World Rank 3.

How to gain reputation quickly in Diablo 4

The first thing you need to do is make sure you have a horse to make traveling easier. In any region, your first goal should be Complete the three fortresses in each regionwhich earns 300 reputation in each region. Next, travel to towns and settlements and open the map to look for side quest icons that only appear when you check the map in town. You can take on multiple side quests at once before heading out to complete them all and returning to turn them all in and earn your reputation.

Another way to gain fame quickly is to mount your horse and ride into unexplored parts of the map.
