She’s 30, flirty and successful; Maya Jama just celebrated her big birthday and with it came a major hair change. But before you break out the kitchen scissors to recreate the following with a DIY project, allow me to provide some context…
Almost 24 hours ago (15 August 2024) the Love Island The presenter took to Instagram to share a 15-part (!!) carousel post of pictures from her birthday party. Of course, Maya hit the fashion department wearing a black halter neck mini dress with gold embellishments, but it was the beauty look (and more specifically her hairstyle) that captivated us at first glance.
In addition to her typical raven-black curls, the presenter had a full fringe cut that framed her face and the entire look.
This style is not only stunning, but also a sign of health and wealth. In other words, a haircut for the new season (or in Maya’s case, a new era) is always welcome to maintain the health of your hair.
Given Maya’s previous, erratic hairstyles, we now have to speculate that these bangs may have been achieved not by a cut but by clip-in hair extensions. After all, she rocked a similar look last July that turned out to be just that.
It offers all the drama without the commitment. And that, in my opinion, is the perfect combination – under any circumstances, might I add.
