“Always a classic”: Matt Bomer reveals that he likes to play card games on vacation, especially Uno with the family

Matt Bomer is a proud father and normally leads a happy life with his husband Simon Halls. But when it comes to playing Uno, the family gets into some really heated situations.

The Emmy Award nominee recently talked about how he and his family enjoy having fun with the aforementioned card game on family vacations.

Speaking to PEOPLE for their latest issue, Matt Bomer explained that the family of five always brings a deck of cards with them on vacation, adding, “Uno is always a classic.”

He then went on to describe how the card game in question makes everyone in the family angry while they play it. Bomer even mentioned that there were a few heated moments in the family after the games.

Speaking about his interesting experiences with other card games, the Magic Mike XXL actor explained that while playing the famous game Cards Against Humanity, he noticed a never-before-seen side of the people around him.

Speaking to the outlet, Bomer explained that when his children are not around, he plays the game “NC-17” and that he was shocked by the sense of humor of the people he played this game with.

The actor also emphasized that the card game brings out the dark side of each player.

To further shed light on his preferences, the “The Boys in The Bank” actor also mentioned that he does not have a competitive spirit.

Bomer expressed his love for team sports, highlighting relay races as one of his favorites. He also shared his interest in soccer and track teams.

Matt Bomer said he enjoys working with a team when he is on stage or involved in a production.

Matt Bomer married Simon Halls in 2011. Together they have three children: Kit, Walker and Henry. While Kit was born in 2005, the other two, twins Henry and Walker, were born in 2008.

The actor was nominated for this year’s Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a miniseries or anthology series or a movie. Bomer was nominated for his outstanding performance in Fellow Travelers.
