Dyson presents latest innovations in hair care

Dyson announces its two latest hair care innovations: Dyson Chitosan™, the company’s first styling product line featuring Dyson Triodetic™ technology for flexible, natural-looking hold all day long, and the Airwrap id™ multi-function styler, which integrates Bluetooth technology and two new enhanced attachments. These new products set a new standard in beauty, combining cutting-edge technology with a deep understanding of modern personal care needs.

Dyson has developed its first line of styling products, the Dyson Chitosan™ range of formulas designed for use with Dyson haircare tools. Based on chitosan, a complex macromolecule derived from oyster mushrooms, and developed using Dyson Triodetic™ technology, the range is the result of over a decade of research into hair health. Moving into formulas represents a new frontier for Dyson as the company moves into ingredient research.

“Unlike other styling products that use simple polymers that act like glue and hold individual hair strands together, Dyson’s formulas stand out for their different approach. By using chitosan, a complex macromolecule, in its formulas, Dyson facilitates the formation of flexible bonds that hold each strand individually, doubling the hold without compromising the hair’s movement and shine,” says James Dyson, founder and chief engineer.

The Dyson Chitosan™ styling range sets itself apart by solving the problems of other ranges that use simple polymers and create rigid bonds in the hair. Dyson Chitosan™ provides flexible hold that lasts all day¹, with movement and shine without weighing hair down. It is suitable for all hair types, even hair with high humidity².

The Dyson Airwrap id™ multifunction styler with new attachments will be available from the last quarter of the year in two colour ranges: Ceramic Patina and Topaz or Vinca Blue and Topaz, starting at €549. The full range of Dyson Chitosan styling products will be available after the summer. Both the styling cream and serum will cost €59 and the refill pack will cost €54.
