Week 1 of the 2024 NFL preseason has concluded. Here is a recap of the accomplishments of every former NC State football player. The Wolfpack currently has 32 former players on NFL rosters.
Linebacker Payton Wilson led the Steelers with 7 tackles (1 TFL) in their 20-12 loss to the Texans.
His PFF grade was 52.5. Wilson’s grade was hurt by the fact that he missed two tackles and the receiver he was covering caught 4 of the 5 passes thrown his way while in coverage.
Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers had three catches for 45 yards (three targets) in the Raiders’ 24-23 loss to the Vikings. He played in 13 snaps and his PFF grade was 77.9.

Safety Tanner Ingle had five tackles in the Rams’ 13-12 win over the Cowboys.

Wide receiver Thayer Thomas caught 3 passes for 24 yards and was targeted 5 times in the Vikings’ 24-23 win over the Raiders. Thomas played in 18 snaps and earned a PFF grade of 63.0. He also returned 3 punts for an average of 6 yards.
In the Raiders’ 24-23 loss to the Vikings, punter AJ Cole averaged 52 yards per punt on six punts. His longest punt was 60 yards, and he completed three of his six punts inside the 20-yard line.
Wide receiver Kelvin Harmon caught two passes for 38 yards in the Cowboys’ 13-12 loss to the Rams.

Offensive guard Chandler Zavala was exceptional, earning a PFF grade of 84.0 in 54 snaps in the Panthers’ 17-3 loss to the Pats.
Linebacker Vi Jones had 4 tackles in the Bucs’ 17-14 win over the Bengals. Jones played in 25 snaps and earned a PFF grade of 67.6.
Running back Zonovan Knight rushed the ball six times for 12 yards in the Lions’ 14-3 loss to the Giants. He also caught two balls for 10 yards (three attempts). Knight’s PFF grade was 59.3 in 20 snaps.
Defensive lineman Kentavius Street had 1 tackle (1 TFL) and 1 QB hit in the Falcons’ 20-13 loss to the Dolphins. He played in 6 snaps and his PFF score was 93.1.
Center Garrett Bradbury played 12 snaps in the Vikings’ 24-23 win over the Raiders. His PFF grade was 65.9.
Germaine Pratt recorded 1 tackle in 2 snaps in the Bengals’ 17-14 loss to the Bucs. His PFF grade in those 2 snaps was 91.0.
Running back Trent Pennix had one pass reception for 7 yards (1 target) in the Colts’ 34-30 loss to the Broncos, but unfortunately left the game with a groin injury.
Center Dylan McMahon played 39 snaps in the Eagles’ 16-13 win over the Ravens and earned a PFF rating of 55.3.

Place kicker Brayden Narveson converted his first field goal attempt from 34 yards in the Titans’ 17-13 victory over the 49ers.
Quarterback Jacoby Brissett was 0-3 in the Pats’ 17-3 win over the Panthers. He played in only 4 snaps and his PFF grade was 42.9.

Cornerback Robert Kennedy III had 2 tackles in the Chargers’ 16-3 loss to the Seahawks. He played in 5 snaps and earned a PFF grade of 67.2.
Long snapper Joe Shimko played 3 snaps in the Cardinals’ 16-14 loss to the Saints.
Defensive tackle Larrell Murchison had 1 tackle in the Rams’ 13-12 win over the Cowboys. Murchison left the game with an arm injury and was unable to return.
Defensive tackle TY McGill recorded no stats in 42 snaps and earned a PFF grade of 28.9.
