Victoria J. Gayles, Youngstown, Ohio

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Victoria J. Gayles, 78, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024 at Hospice House surrounded by her family.

She was born on August 15, 1945 in Willimantic, Connecticut, to the late Lyman G. and Mary E. (Gavigan) Albro.

Victoria’s warm and caring spirit touched many people along the way. Victoria loved being with her family more than anything and found joy in the simple things in life, like playing bingo, watching the Hallmark Channel and crocheting.

Victoria leaves behind her beloved daughters Melody Gayles, Anna Judkins, Marjorie Kilgore, Erica (Justin) Wallace and Lisa Schreiber, her sister Betty Houle, her brother Richard Albro and her grandchildren Shaquala Dalambakis, Kristina Judkins, Christian Walters, Ramon Judkins, Hudson Wallace, Robert Schrieber, James and Katherine Kilgore and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Gayles, her beloved children David Judkins and Erica Gayles I, her brothers Lyman Albro, James Albro and Caleb Albro, and her sister Mary Rose Pelkey.

In her final moments, Victoria was surrounded by those she loved and found comfort in their presence. She will be sadly missed by all who were privileged to know her.

Professional arrangements are being handled by Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
