You can get the upcoming games Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Unknown 9: Awakening for free when you buy pretty much any AMD Radeon 7000 graphics card or AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU right now. While Unknown 9: Awakening doesn’t have a price yet, Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 costs $55 on its own, making it a great deal if you’re planning on buying the latest 40k hack and slash.
Both AMD and Nvidia regularly offer a number of new games for free with their best graphics cards, but this is one of the most extensive deals we’ve ever seen. You can now get these games for free with GPUs as cheap as the RX 7600 XT and CPUs as cheap as the Ryzen 7 7700. If your system needs an upgrade and you can spend under $300, a free game for $55 offers great value.
Even new laptop buyers can get in on the action, as AMD-equipped laptops that use both a Ryzen 7000 series CPU and GPU are eligible for the deal. Notably, however, no current-generation CPUs are included in the deal, such as AMD’s new 8000 series desktop APUs or Ryzen AI 300 laptop CPUs, which is a bit of a shame.

An interesting feature of this deal – you can find all the details here – is that while it looks like good value for money on paper, both games are currently unavailable. The release date for Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 is September 9, 2024, and the release date for Unknown 9: Awakening hasn’t even been announced yet, but is set for 2024.
Additionally, the games must be claimed by November 2, 2024, so you may only have a small window of time to claim Unknown 9: Awakening. Nonetheless, this remains a great deal, and you can get a good taste of what the new 40k game looks like in our Space Marine 2 preview.
