Sophie Butcher of Empire Magazine writes in her 4-star review: “A truly effective, sharp-witted thriller that establishes Zoë Kravitz as a bold directorial talent and shows you a side of Channing Tatum you’ve never seen before..” Kristy Puchko of Mashable writes: “Perhaps the biggest surprise of Blink Twice is how slyly humorous it is.”
However, not all critics are so enthusiastic about Flash twiceLovia Gyarkye of the Hollywood Reporter writes in her “Rotten” review: “Blink Twice is ultimately too scattered, overwhelmed by the demands of its weighty themes, striking images, immature plot points and partially realized characters.” Blink Twice is the feature film directorial debut of Zoë Kravitz. Fly with me to the moon was not a big box office success, but gained popularity on Apple TV+, while Flash twice could surprise with better reviews at the box office at the end of August 2024 and Deadpool and Wolverine momentum.
