Triplemania: El Patron vs. Nemeth fight for the AAA title in Mexico City

The full map for Triplemania XXXII: Mexico City includes:

There’s not a lot of deep storytelling here, so it should be easy enough for new viewers to jump right in and watch the spectacle. AAA is best enjoyed with an open mind and a smile. The chances of a badass show are just as high as a show that’s so bad it’s good.

The main event is the Domo de la Muerte. Think of a Thunderdome type of gimmick where luchadores escape through the hole at the top. The last man standing loses his mask or his hair, whichever is appropriate. Technically it’s every man for himself here, but the competitors come from three different factions where teamwork is paramount. Expect a full-blown spectacle of chaos like only AAA can deliver.

Nic Nemeth enters the show with the AAA Mega Championship. He defeated Alberto del Rio at Triplemania XXXII: Monterrey to win the vacant title (due to Hijo del Vikingo’s injury). Now comes the rematch. Nemeth was busy winning the TNA World Championship, so there wasn’t much on-screen about this match. AAA is relying on his past in WWE to tell the story.

Vampiro is embarking on his farewell tour. For Triplemania, there will be a special kind of coffin fight. The atmosphere is meant to be cinematic, opening the door for a multitude of faces from Vampiro’s past to appear as his opponents.

The rivalry between Negro Casas and Dr. Wagner Jr. extends to the family and Jeff Jarrett. Negro Casas (father-in-law) and Psycho Clown (son-in-law) are the current AAA World Tag Team Champions. Wagner (father) brings Galeno Del Mal (son) to win the gold. Jarrett (the most hated man in Mexico) has recruited Raj Dhesi (aka Jinder Mahal) to form a formidable duo with Santam Singh.

Matt Riddle has found his way into a title shot. He was originally scheduled to face Laredo Kid in a showcase, but then Komander was added because the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship was on the line. Brother.

Faby Apache has earned her place as Lady Flammer’s challenger for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. Faby has a good chance of winning this prize for the fifth time.

The Copa Bardahl is expected to feature surprises from the past, in keeping with this year’s throwback theme of former stars.

“Triplemania XXXII: Mexico City” is available to watch on TrillerTV (as a bundle or individual purchase) and through various media outlets in Mexico.
