He received his associate degree from Mott Community College and had a long career with Xerox Corporation. Mr. Garwold retired from Xerox where at times he served the entire state of Michigan: servicing copiers, training copier maintenance personnel, and doing public relations. Wayne and his late wife Carol owned and operated Flowers by Carol in Lapeer for many years. He enjoyed helping with deliveries even after Carol sold the flower shop. Mr. Garwold was a member of Grand Blanc Moose Lodge #2344. Wayne recently celebrated his 80th birthday with a surprise party at Rich Twp. Hall with close family and friends. His sense of humor and his outlook on life were unique. Wayne was very generous and caring!
