Tanyel, who starred in Winter Love Island in January 2023, has told her followers about her hair transplant, calling it “the best thing I’ve ever done.”
Tanyel shared a video on Instagram and told her followers about her hair transplant experience, opening up in front of the camera.
She pointed to her new hairline and said, “This is the best thing I’ve ever done. Seriously, how good my hairline looks.”
“I’m so in love with it.”
In the video, she reveals that she is compiling her entire experience in a series of videos, but begins by explaining where she went and why she decided to have the procedure.
She explained: “They said I could go lower here (points to hairline), but I didn’t want them to take any more hair and I was a little scared because they shave your head.
“I was a little nervous and just wanted to fill in the corners.”
Tanyel detailed all the tests and procedures she underwent at HairNeva in Istanbul, Turkey, and also revealed that she had part of her head shaved along her front hairline before the hair was implanted.
She also added: “Hair is a big thing for me and I’m a hairdresser too, so it’s important to me.”
Fans praised her honesty. One commented on the video: “Your honesty about your travels is so refreshing, especially these days on social media.”
“I am sure your honesty will help many girls out there who are thinking about a hair transplant.”
Another added: “You look beautiful. I hope this helps you gain more confidence and self-assurance.”
“I love how genuine and honest you are, Tanyel,” said a third.
During her time on Love Island, Tanyel had a purely platonic relationship with her best mate Ron Hall and Kai Fagan.
However, since she did not find true love, she was expelled from the island, but quickly found the love of real estate developer Ediz.
The engaged hairdresser from north London announced in November last year that she had married her partner, a property developer.
The romantic marriage proposal took place in Istanbul (Türkiye) while the couple was enjoying a holiday together.
In November last year, she told The Sun: “I had the feeling from the beginning the holidays that he would suggest.
“I thought, ‘Isn’t it a bit strange that my family is leaving two days later?’
“He’s older, I know he’s ready to settle down and have kids, so I had a feeling, but I wasn’t 100 percent sure.”
Revealing how she felt after Ediz proposed, she added: “It was crazy. I feel like no one has ever gotten engaged so quickly after Love Island. It’s very crazy but also really exciting.”
“Of course I said yes. I was really excited. I couldn’t believe it. I was so excited. My ring is yellow gold. It’s exactly how I wanted it. The clarity is so good, it’s unbelievable.”
