Ohio police investigate suspected murder and suicide outside Taco Bell

A suspected murder-suicide outside a Taco Bell in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, last week has investigators searching for answers after the shooter and victim apparently did not know each other.

On Wednesday evening, police found two people shot at the drive-in. Authorities identified the shooter as 53-year-old Jason Williams and the victim as 25-year-old Megan Keleman.

The incident began when Keleman pulled in front of Williams at the drive-thru, leading to an altercation in which Williams shot Keleman and then himself, according to police.

A medical examiner determined that Keleman suffered gunshot wounds to the neck and ruled her death a homicide. Williams’ death was ruled a suicide due to a gunshot wound to the head.

The motive was not immediately clear and authorities said they found no evidence that the two knew each other.

Stow Police Chief Jeffrey Film told FOX8 Cleveland that while the investigation is ongoing, the mystery surrounding the cause of the tragedy may never be solved.

“We don’t currently have an answer as to why this happened, and we may never know,” Film said.
