Dricus du Plessis trolls Drake after defeating Israel Adesanya

When it comes to losing big money on sports, Aubrey Drake Graham has made an art out of it. And the God’s plan The hitmaker created another masterpiece on Saturday when he bet $450,000 that Israel Adesanya would defeat Dricus du Plessis in a middleweight title fight at UFC 305.

Drake could have won $855,000 with this bet, which he posted on Instagram with the caption “Always with Izzy,” but he lost, as expected.

Du Plessis defended his title by submission in the fourth round.

To be fair, Drake was not alone. Although du Plessis was the reigning champion, Adesanya was the -120 favorite, having attracted 70% of tickets to a winner and 81% of the turnover at BetMGM.

However, Drake getting in on the action should have been a sign for bettors to call off the Adesanya bet. The loss continued a losing trend that has seemingly accelerated since his highly publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar. It is at least the second time he has lost a bet on Adesanya.

Du Plessis couldn’t pass up the opportunity to thank Drake for his contributions.
