Christina Hall and her 13-year-old daughter Taylor treated themselves to a day at the salon.
Hall, 41, and Taylor stood side by side and lifted their locks in a video shared via Instagram on Saturday, August 17. Hall shook her head as she ran her hand over the camera to show off her hair transformation. The mother-daughter duo then beamed from ear to ear as they wrapped their arms around each other and showed off their new looks.
“Mum and daughter hair day! ✨,” reads the joint Instagram post from Hall and Lush Locks by Latitude. “Christina got a fresh microfoil and extensions from Lush Lucks, while Taylor added soft partial highlights to blend her sun-kissed ends.”
Hall posted a close-up snap on her Instagram story showing her hair styled in loose waves. “It looks brighter and more radiant if you know what I mean 👏🧡 @thechristinahall,” hair and makeup artist Julia Gonzales wrote on Instagram on Saturday.
Hall shares Taylor and son Brayden, 8, with ex-husband Tarek El Moussawith whom she was married from 2009 to 2018. (The former couple separated in 2016, but their divorce did not become final until two years later.)
Hall moved on with her ex-husband Ant Ansteadwith whom she has a 4-year-old son, Hudson. The couple married in 2018, but Christina filed for divorce in 2020, which was finalized a year later.
Then she exchanged marriage vows with her estranged husband Joshua Hallbut the couple filed for divorce in July. During her separation from Joshua, 43, Christina is spending a lot of time with her family.
Days before announcing their separation, Christina told exclusively We weekly that her relationship with Taylor is “very, very strong.” Christina in the country The star noted that her greatest “success as a mother” was “communication with Taylor.”
“At that age, there are friendship dynamics and little dramas,” Christina explained, adding that their friendship was evident when her daughter wrote her a Mother’s Day card earlier this year. “(It) was so sweet and so special and it just made me feel so good just being her mom and being a parent in general.”
Christina added that she includes Taylor’s friends in their time together. “I love just having the kids over at our house. They have a lot of sleepovers here, like every weekend or every other weekend,” she said. “We have six girls total that just sleep in one room and then go in the hot tub together and ride around on their e-bikes.”
Christina also makes sure to spend plenty of time with her two sons, noting that Brayden has become her “little clown full of energy,” while Hudson is “so smart and silly” and keeps everyone “on their toes.”
“I feel like it makes me proud in general how often the kids just come up to me and hug me,” she said. “And the boys also just say ‘I love you’ (all the time).”
