The seventh series of Sanrio Waffle and Trading Cards will be released on August 19, 2024. You can get each pack for 143 JPY (just under $1). (Thanks, Game Watch!)
As with other Bandai Namco waffles, each bag includes a trading card. This time, there are two series of cards, with a total of 29. Of those 29, two are secret cards. The waffle snack itself has the usual cocoa cream flavor. The first series features mascots hugging small stuffed animals. For example, Hello Kitty is holding a teddy bear, while Keroppi is holding what looks like a Teruteru Bouzu. These cards are a light pastel color.
The second row has much bolder colors and features angel and devil versions of the mascots. Each card has a frame that looks almost like a tarot card. Some of the cards also feature both angel and devil versions of a mascot. The mascots on these cards are Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, and Kuromi. However, there are also the two secret cards mentioned above. Judging by the popularity of certain mascots, one of these could be Hello Kitty.
The Sanrio Waffles will be available in stores across Japan starting August 19, 2024. You can find them in the snack section.
