Brendan Schaub drops two words after UFC 305 prediction flops, just like Drake’s 0,000 bet

Brendan Schaub had predicted that Israel Adesanya would dominate Dricus Du Plessis. He had talked a lot about the former champion being rested, trained and stronger. And although his prediction was somewhat correct and Izzy dominated the fight, the former champion quit, which created a somewhat embarrassing situation for Schaub.

In fact, the MMA expert did not hide his shame, but instead let it go and started trolling himself towards X.

Responding to a statistic that said Drake has a 17-189 record in sports betting, Schaub simply said:

“The same”

The post claimed the Canadian rapper only won 17 bets and lost 189 sports bets, which of course isn’t true. But he picked Adesanya to win, so Twitter doesn’t really care. They’ve collectively decided the curse is real, and that’s the case now.

Meanwhile, Drake’s embarrassment got even worse as he had bet nearly half a million dollars on his close friend.

Regardless, both Drake and Schaub were criticized by DDP for their lack of faith in him. But Drake only got a thank you, Schaub was called a “never been there”!

DDP appoints Schaub

Dricus Du Plessis kept the receipts of everyone who didn’t believe he could win, and former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub was at the top of the list alongside Drake.

After his victory over Adesanya, the champion had to remind Schaub of his prediction and then accused him of never having been the main actor in anything.

“@BrendanSchaub great prediction. I was only kidding haha you never were.”

That was a bit of a low blow, but DDP is the same guy who made Sean Strickland give up the Marlboro Man act and cry on screen, on podcasts, and everything in between.

Then he did the same to Izzy in a live press conference. So the South African boy knows where it hurts the most and keeps going, not unlike what he did to Izzy during the fight.

Now let’s get back to Schaub: He probably saw this coming. He himself had predicted that it was not a good sign that Drake had joined him and bet on Adesanya to win.

After dominating the entire fight, an exhausted Du Plessis went all out with a three-punch combination to stun “The Last Stylebender,” before jumping to his back and applying a rear naked choke to end the fight.
