KATE Garraway let loose and danced the night away with her kids while they spent the day at a successful music festival.
The 57-year-old Good Morning Britain presenter, whose husband Derek Draper, 56, tragically died in January, was spotted partying at Camp Bestival with 15-year-old Billy and 18-year-old Darcey.
It has understandably been a tough year for the trio and Kate spoke openly about her problems on the ITV daytime show.
Still, she enjoyed a well-deserved break from the screen during the four-day festival, slipping into a leopard-print robe, white top and matching shorts as she got ready for the family outing.
Later that night – as Bestival events spanned four days in Dorset and Shropshire – Kate donned a fluffy white hat and a thick cream cardigan.
Billy was seen striking a cheeky pose in his hoodie and sweatpants before Kate shook hands with a friend as they danced around.
They then posed for group photos with all the children before enjoying the live performances.
Kate shared the pictures on her Instagram page, writing: “That was fun! @bestival thanks for a brilliant day – so great to see @chrishawkinsdj in action and how much fun the kids had. @clarenasir & @vickiewhitemgmnt get recognition points for their spectacular dancing.”
Kate even told how she met her ITV daytime colleague Josie Gibson while enjoying her time off, adding: “My apologies go out to @josiegibson85 for having the misfortune of meeting me after my first pint and a half of lager in a loooong time!!!!!!
“What a great, family-friendly festival.
“Now off to bed – see you all tomorrow from 6 xxx on @gmb”
Just last week, Kate showed how she juggles her motherly duties with the school summer holidays.
She was caught tapping on her phone as Good Morning Britain returned from its advert break.
Her co-host Richard Madeley, 68, called her out, saying: “She’s on the phone, she’s on the phone!” before pointing to the pink device perched on a stand on the desk.
Kate then admitted: “I was on the phone!
“I was just struggling with a little crisis at home, a little bit, you know…
“Children who are up to no good.
“You know what kids are like!”
Previously, Darcey bravely carried her father’s coffin during his emotional funeral in February – at the same place where Kate and Derek were married almost 20 years ago.
The following month, Kate made sure all the stops were pulled out for Darcey’s birthday party because Derek “would have wanted this day to be special.”
Earlier this week, Kate told how “proud” she was of her eldest as she collected her high school diplomas and read them at her father’s grave.
In another emotional Instagram message, Kate wrote: “Congratulations to everyone who achieved their #Alevel results this week – a huge achievement – even if you are disappointed with the results – don’t be – you made it to the end and life finds its way to work itself out in the best way for you.”
“Darcey got her results on another of those first days this year – Derek’s birthday.
“She didn’t get what she could have gotten, but she did better than we feared under the circumstances.
“I couldn’t be prouder of her and I know her father would be too.
“We went to Dad’s grave to ‘tell’ him before she went out to celebrate with friends.”
Former political lobbyist Derek was fighting for his life in hospital after suffering a heart attack over the holidays.
Derek has been one of the longest suffering Covid patients in the UK since his diagnosis in March 2020.
Kate paid a touching tribute to her late husband at his funeral in February and “bravely” returned to GMB just days later.
