These fan-favorite Marshall speakers are getting better than ever with new versions

Marshall is one of the undisputed kings of rock’n’roll sound, and its speakers are some of the best portable speakers for audio fans. And two of its most popular models are getting new versions with better sound, better battery, and extra protection. The Emberton III and Willen II are better versions of Marshall’s fan favorites.

The Emberton III, the larger of the two, isn’t just a pretty face. It packs a punch with True Stereophonic sound, which Marshall says will give you an unrivalled stereo experience. It’s billed as true surround sound that makes you feel like your music is swirling around you. With a battery life of over 32 hours, this speaker is built to survive any adventure you throw at it. And with its IP67 dust and water resistance, you don’t have to worry about it getting wet or dirty – it’s as tough as it is powerful.

And then there’s the Willen II, its smaller sibling. Despite its compact size, Marshall has given it a little growth spurt. It’s just enough to improve the bass and overall sound quality. And while it’s still small enough to slip into your pocket, it now has even more firepower thanks to improved drivers. With over 17 hours of playtime, it’ll keep you company on long hikes or spontaneous trips. And it’s just as rugged as the Emberton III, with the same IP67 rating. And the handy elastic strap lets you attach it to just about anything.

Both new models are future-ready with Bluetooth LE audio and promise to unlock new audio sharing features via Auracast, meaning you’ll soon be able to share your music across multiple speakers and turn any room into a full-blown Marshall concert.

If you’re ready for Marshall’s latest releases, they’ll be available direct from Marshall from August 26th. The Emberton III is available for £159, while the Willen II is £99.
