Officers took a Rochester woman into custody in Wayne County after an arrest warrant was issued for a 2022 traffic stop.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Sequita K. Wright, 37, of Rochester, early Sunday morning on a warrant issued by the Ontario Municipal Court. Wright’s arrest follows charges related to a traffic stop in Ontario on November 22, 2022.
During the first incident, Wright allegedly disobeyed lawful orders and was charged with obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest. On September 28, 2023, an arrest warrant was issued after she failed to appear in court.
Wright was taken into custody and held for CAP arraignment. She is scheduled to appear in Ontario Municipal Court at a later date for further proceedings.
