The 36-year-old will play Fiyero in the upcoming Evil Adaptation, while Bridgerton In season 3, he returned as fan favorite Lord Anthony. As if that wasn’t enough, he received an Emmy nomination for his role in the Showtime series Fellow travelerswhich follows the relationship between two men who meet at the height of the McCarthy era.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, he recalled the busy period: “The whole experience showed me how great producers can be. I don’t think I had a single day off for 32 days in a row.”
“I flew back and forth four times. I went from (Fellow travelers Character) Hawks house in the 60s in the cottage, drive straight to the airport, sleep on the plane, drive straight to a Regency ball, sleep there, then straight to Evil to learn choreography. And at that time I was so late with the Evil a lot,” he continued.
“They had already started filming and it was also incredible that Marc Platt managed to pull it off,” Jonathan explained. “There’s nothing better than the feeling of figuring out your priorities, whether you need to learn the choreography today, work on your American accent or comb your hair for another film.” Bridgerton kiss.”
“I probably wouldn’t rush it again,” he said, noting that the music was “absolutely crucial” in helping him transition from one character to another. “But I would say I was pretty good at going crazy the whole time, and then at the end I had five days off and my hair was dead from all the perming and straightening.”
“I had to cut my hair for Bridgerton and straighten my hair for (Fellow travelers). I was like a teenage beauty advert and I did everything with my hair. I remember that holiday and I got to the beach and sat in the sun and my hair was just floating, coming off. And I looked and felt completely crazy,” he added.

Bridgerton. One night we were talking and he said, ‘Come on, I’m going to get a perm.’ I sat in the chair and thought, ‘Wait, let’s do me!’ We did my hair and thanks to him I’ve been perming it ever since.”
