“I flew back and forth four times. I went from (Fellow travelers Character) Hawks house in the 60s in the cottage, drive straight to the airport, sleep on the plane, drive straight to a Regency ball, sleep there, then straight to Evil to learn choreography. And at that time I was so late with the Evil a lot,” he continued.

“I had to cut my hair for Bridgerton and straighten my hair for (Fellow travelers). I was like a teenage beauty advert and I did everything with my hair. I remember that holiday and I got to the beach and sat in the sun and my hair was just floating, coming off. And I looked and felt completely crazy,” he added.

The heat had an impact on Fellow travelers‘ Costume designer Joseph La Corte, who told the Daily Beast last year: “In Bridgertonhe has curly hair; in our show he has straight hair, so he had to get a perm when he wanted to leave us to come back.
