Drake has a feel for the lyrics to Chingy’s “One Call Away.”
Champagne Papi dedicated some love to the lyrics in his Instagram story. On the track, Chingy raps: “The next day I’m in the case with the boys and playing ball.”
“Here she comes with her friends who posted her on the wall. Now I show myself, try to dunk, try to dribble. I break through the middle quickly just to see her smile and giggle.”
Drake shared a screenshot of the lyrics. “Nah, shit, I felt that,” he wrote alongside it. “Like, why do I play better when people ain’t watching?”
He added: “You really hit the nail on the head with that one goatish lyric.”
Drake is getting ready to release new music of his own. We previously reported that Drake announced that he and PartyNextDoor are working on a joint project.
The “Family Matters” rapper took the stage with PND during his performance in Toronto on Saturday (August 3). “I know you girls are all out there, and when it gets a little chilly, PartyNextDoor and the Drake album are here for you,” he told the crowd.
There is no release date or title for the project yet. “I could definitely do that, just hope PARTYNEXTDOOR gets his flowers because you know the attention will be on Drake,” one fan responded. “If the album is full of bangers like Tuesday and less of Members Only or Preach then I’m all in…” another responded.
