Looking forward to a festive weekend after a rainy week? There’s plenty to do on those precious days off. Check out five events to enjoy this weekend:

The walk in Ligonier

Take a walk through time this Friday night at The Stroll, an event held in front of Ligonier City Hall, 120 E. Main St., Ligonier.

Outside on the Diamond, visitors can enjoy music, dancing, and classic and antique cars. The Stroll is themed around the 1950s, so be sure to bring out your best poodle skirt and dance the night away.

The party will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For more information, visit business.ligonier.com.

Sunset yoga in the gardens

Need to unwind before the week ahead? On Sunday evenings, West Overton Village hosts Sunset Yoga in the Gardens, a yoga class for all levels followed by a sound bath.

The class will be held on Sunday from 7-8 p.m. at West Overton Village, 109 W. Overton Road, East Huntingdon. Those who want to participate should bring a mat, blanket, drinks and sunscreen. The class costs $15 per person, cash only at the door.

Classes are led by yogi Krystal Kantorik and sound bath is provided by Lainie Allen. Full details are available at westovertonvillage.org.

“Herman’s Hermits” with Peter Noone

If you can’t get enough of mid-century music, check out Peter Noone and his ’60s British music group Herman’s Hermits, who will perform two shows at the Lamp Theater in Irwin.

With hits like “I’m Into Something Good” and “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter,” Herman’s Hermits have captivated generations with their timeless songs.

Tickets are $59. The two shows are this Sunday at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Lamp Theatre, 222 Main St., Irwin. For more information and tickets, visit lamptheatre.org.

Monster Drawing Rally

Come to this unique event and watch a real-time speed drawing contest! A panel of artists will create drawings during the rally and participants can vote for their favorites at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art.

20 artists will participate and draw inspiration from Westmoreland’s current exhibition, “The Great Search.” While watching, audience members can enjoy music from DJ Fredo, a bar and food from Casita Bonita.

The rally will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg. Admission is free, but advance registration is recommended. For more information about the artists and to register, visit thewestmoreland.org.
