Khloé Kardashian has just given the curve cut hair trend the shiniest twist

With every social media post from Khloé Kardashian, we expect a beauty transformation of some sort—she is, after all, our reigning hair chameleon. And with a range of colors to match, including dream blonde, strawberry shortcake red, and most recently mocha brown, we’re now expecting big things.

Of course, as a beauty mogul, Khloé has never disappointed, as she not only recently revived a trendy haircut, but also jazzed it up with a glossy finish. She’s back! (And by she, I mean the curved cut, which is expected to debut in spring 2023.)

Overnight, the mother-of-two took to Instagram to post a selection of glamorous portrait photos. There’s no denying that she looks incredible in her pinstripe two-piece bustier, but what’s even better is arguably the fresh haircut she sported for the first time.

“It only took me a week to convince you to chop that off,” commented Chris Appleton, the family’s longtime hairdresser (and who we assume is the genius behind this look). To which Khloé jokingly replied, “I like playing the hard-to-reach one.”

Last year, the hairstyle in question was popularized by Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Aniston and, as mentioned, was dubbed the “curve cut” – also known as the “C-cut.” As Khloé perfectly demonstrates, the look is defined by its inward-curved ends, creating a loose “C” shape. Think: the layers of a more refined, tamed shag with the popular, nostalgic ends of the ’90s “Rachel” hairstyle.

In addition, the glass-like surface has not gone unnoticed.

Since Chris is probably the man who made this possible, we’re going to take a gamble and say that Color Wow Dream Coat Supernatural Spray was used for this finish. It’s one of the hairdresser’s favorite products – as well as one of mine – and we’ve heard him rave about it countless times.

Khloé, rest assured we’re after your curls. Let the shine war begin.
