CLEVELAND, Ohio — After two weeks of slow share price growth among Ohio’s major companies, 26 companies posted a positive change, compared with 11 the week before. Eleven of them posted growth of at least 2.5 percent, including four from the Cleveland metropolitan area.
The largest Ohio company with the greatest growth in the previous week was the financial institution KeyCorp. The Cleveland company’s stock value rose by 12.2%, or $1.78 per share.
The other major Cleveland-area companies that reported growth last week were Progressive, Sherwin-Williams and Transdigm Group.
This is the third consecutive week that Progressive has seen its share price rise, including at least 2.5% last week. KeyCorp and seven other companies have seen their shares rise for at least two weeks in a row.

The listing is limited to companies that are predominantly based in Ohio, are on the Russell 3000 membership list and have a market capitalization of over $5 billion as of April 14.
