Lil Yachty riles up Drake fans by unfollowing him on IG

It seems like fans spend “Another Late Night” theorizing and speculating who Drake will feud with next. Additionally, some eagle-eyed fans on social media recently noticed that Lil Yachty appears to have unfollowed him on Instagram. This shocked many admirers, as the duo previously had a strong collaboration and personal relationship, and they interacted just as much online as they did in person. Additionally, followers of OVO and Concrete immediately went into detective mode, speculating that the alleged upcoming release of Drizzy’s “Supersoak” has something to do with it.

In case you didn’t know, DJ Akademiks shared a clip of the music video for this song, which originally featured Lil Yachty. In fact, it was Yachty who gave the original collaboration version of the song to Kai Cenat to play on his livestream. The reason for this was that they couldn’t release the sample because the sampled artist, Mr. Hotspot, demanded a clean version of the team-up due to his religious views. With this new development, many are speculating that Mr. Hotspot is mad at Yachty for revealing all this on a podcast and told the 6ix God that he might drop it if he removes his partner.

Lil Yachty apparently no longer follows Drake

Of course, this is just an unsubstantiated theory, and so is everyone else before either of them actually speak out about it. Still, we’re not inclined to believe that this indicates a rift between the two, as it could just as easily be a promotional tactic. Still, it’s not like Drake and Lil Yachty’s relationship has always been all sunshine and roses. For example, the latter’s thoughts on the former’s feud with Kendrick Lamar caused considerable uproar among the Toronto superstar’s diehard followers.

Regardless, we’ll see if Drake and Lil Yachty talk about it at some point. It’s not like every fan loved this collaboration, but fans are worried about this partnership fading. After all, they chose a pretty contentious and controversial moment to fuel even more rumors about who is feuding and who isn’t. Are they just confusing us to troll us, or is there more to it?
