I bought the same TV over the holidays and after 9 months of use I have no complaints whatsoever. The panel is bright, colorful and sharp with excellent contrast and detail. I recently watched The Union on Netflix and the action jumped out at me with such lifelike images that I felt like I was In the movie.
Auto Game Mode is one of my favorite features on the TCL Q7 QLED TV. When I feel like gaming, I just grab my game controller and press a button. The TV automatically takes me to the home screen of my game console, eliminating the need to fiddle with settings to switch inputs.
Gaming is buttery smooth, I never experienced any lag or stuttering while playing. As for audio, the TV’s built-in speakers sound great, so if you don’t want to get a soundbar right away or at all, you’ll still have a pleasant audio experience. However, depending on what kind of cinematic experience you’re going for, you may want to invest in a soundbar or a home theater system.
