This Saturday and Sunday, Detroit’s Redford Theater is hosting a free movie weekend with free screenings of the original Indiana Jones adventure, Raiders of the Lost Ark, in the rare 35mm format.
The screening is provided by Pluto TV, a free, ad-supported streaming service, and its Summer of Cinema campaign, which supports independent and family-run cinemas across the country. The campaign offered free movie weekends at 14 theaters from the West to the East Coast throughout the summer, and ended with screenings in Detroit and Chicago.

During Detroit’s free movie weekend, Raiders of the Lost Ark will be shown at the Redford Theater on Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. However, tickets are limited; 400 free tickets are available online and 100 free tickets will be available at the box office.
