Roy Jones Jr. sets his next Washington map

Being named the main fighter by Roy Jones Jr. is more than enough publicity for India’s Mandeep Jangra, as he looks to extend his undefeated start by headlining Jones’ next Legends Casino card on September 19 in Toppenish, Washington.

Super featherweight Jangra (10-0, 7 KOs) trains under Jones in Pensacola, Florida, and the Hall of Famer’s affection for the fighter has only grown with three consecutive stoppage victories.

On September 19, Jangra will face Nilo Guerrero (9-0, 7 KOs), a Nicaraguan who lives in Coachella, California.

On the card promoted by Jones is another fighter who Jones sees as promising in the women’s super lightweight division: Ijram Kerway (14-3, 5 KOs), a former judoka from her native Tunisia who later emigrated to Germany and is now the mother of two children.

Kerwat’s opponent has not yet been determined.

Tickets range from $40 to $60 and the fight will be streamed on globalsportsstreaming.com.
