Dua Lipa tests life as a blonde for her new film Argyll.
The 28-year-old singer debuted a major – and temporary – hair change on Instagram on Tuesday, January 2. “Hair and makeup test for @argyllemovie,” Lipa captioned the social media post, marking the upcoming flick, which also stars Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howards, Samuel L. Jackson, Johannes Cena and other big names. (The film is about an introverted writer of spy novels who gets caught up in a sinister underground group.)
In the snaps, Lipa can be seen sitting in a glamorous chair on set, wearing a shaggy platinum wig. The light hairstyle was parted to the side and featured frayed strands. Lipa also wore a full face of makeup, including glittery blue eyeshadow, rosy cheeks and glossy lips.
Lipa’s short-term makeover comes after she unveiled a real transformation in October 2023. After years of having a jet-black mane, Lipa had her locks dyed red.

Lipa’s new red hair also heralded a new era for the pop star, as she is expected to release her third studio album following the release of her latest single, “Houdini.”
She previewed the project at Variety’s Power of Women, telling a reporter, “I definitely have more music coming. Right now I’m in the ‘Houdini’ world. I’m just thrilled that I finally have a deal to release new music. … I’m just really happy and ready to start this next chapter.”
