CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Hamilton County residents receive half-price admission to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden this weekend.
The discounted price is valid during Hamilton County Appreciation Days from Friday, August 23rd to Sunday, August 25th.
“We appreciate the support we receive from the residents of Hamilton County and are pleased to offer deeply discounted admission tickets as a thank you,” said Thane Maynard, Cincinnati Zoo director. “The zoo is for everyone and we want to make it easier for everyone to be inspired by the animal world.”
Experience “Ameritas Wings of Wonder,” a free-flight show featuring a dozen bird species including the hyacinth macaw and the zoo’s famous bald eagle, Sam.
You can reserve tickets in advance by purchasing them online. A valid Hamilton County photo ID is required upon entry.
The zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit the zoo’s website.
