HCSO announces launch of new mobile app and crime data dashboard

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) announced the launch of its new mobile app and online crime data dashboard.

The new app can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple or Android store.

To find it, search for “Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee” in these app stores.

The app’s features include real-time alerts, important information, access to press releases, and links to services that help make HCSO more accessible to the public.

In addition, citizens can use the app to submit anonymous tips, search for arrest warrants, deposit money for inmates and request an incident report.

The HCSO’s new online crime data dashboard is also free to use and is updated every 24 hours.

This dashboard provides information about calls to the police, particularly based on incident reports.

The dashboard also features general incident statistics with visual charts and graphs to display historical and current crime trends.

The available dates are selectable and range from specific months to years.

Citizens can also narrow their search using the dashboard.

A map is available to locate specific streets and zip codes.

After searching, users will see the hotspots on the map and can zoom in to view crimes by type.
