Tyler Cameron’s fans have mixed feelings about his new look.
The Bachelor Nation member showed off a buzzcut on Instagram on Sunday and asked if he should “bleach it next.”
Many of Cameron’s social media followers expressed their approval in the comments over the weekend, with one comparing the former reality star to “Chad Michael Murray in the early 2000s.”
Kelsey Anderson, Joey Grazadei’s fiancée, joked that Cameron was following in the former Bachelor’s footsteps after he shocked fans by going bald in June.
Grazadei, 29, admitted that his back is already growing back.
Other Instagram users railed against Cameron’s “cry for help” transformation, with one simply writing: “This hurts.”
Another asked, “What in the world” was going on with the former ABC personality who competed on season 15 of The Bachelorette in 2019.
There were questions about whether he would “enlist,” and Olympian Erin Jackson said the look would be perfect should Cameron decide to return to the Special Forces.
Fans compared his new look to that of Cincinnati Bengals player Joe Burrow, who shocked fans with a bleached buzzcut in July.
Cameron responded to the concern in a TikTok comment on Tuesday after a fan asked, “Buzz AND Bleach? You okay diva?”
He replied, “The heat and humidity are going to my head.”
The “Going Home With Tyler Cameron” star posted footage of himself shaving off his long locks and said, “I’ve had enough. We’re done. It’s a new era. We’re losing it.”
The model previously teased his hair transformation in a September 2023 TikTok video, calling his mullet hairstyle the “first phase of eliminating (his) long hair.”
Last year, Cameron admitted to Refinery 29 that he was “still learning” about hair care and “how often” he should wash his hair.
“I used to think conditioner was bad for hair, but now I’m learning it’s good for hair,” the general contractor said in the August 2022 interview, thanking his ex-girlfriends for teaching him that.
