Cadillac Escalade 2025 gets huge price increase, starts just under $90,000

  • Cadillac has announced that the facelifted Escalade will start at $89,590.
  • That’s an increase of $5,700, but the Escalade-V climbs $6,475 and starts at $161,990.
  • The 2025 Escalade features a redesigned design and an entirely new interior with a 55-inch display.

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade has a bold new design and a premium interior similar to the Escalade IQ. With that in mind, the sizable $5,700 price increase isn’t surprising.

That’s a significant increase and means the entry-level Escalade Luxury starts at $89,590. Fortunately, the price increases aren’t that high, with the Premium Luxury increasing by $2,975 and starting at $98,790.

The Escalade Sport becomes $575 more expensive, while the Sport Platinum goes from $113,315 to $118,890, an increase of $5,575. The Premium Luxury Platinum increases $5,075, while the Escalade-V increases $6,475 to $161,990.

Cadillac has not yet released detailed specifications on trim and equipment, but the 2025 Escalade will benefit from a “major” mid-cycle facelift that will see the model fitted with an Escalade IQ-inspired front end that features a larger grille with an illuminated crest, along with vertical headlights and slim turn signals.

The design changes continue further back, as there are revised 22-inch wheels as well as newly available 24-inchers, the latter of which are the largest ever offered on an Escalade.

The highlights are rounded off by a new rear bumper, revised taillights and updated exhaust trims. Buyers can also look forward to three new colors: Aegean Stone, Deep Sea Metallic and Latte Metallic.

While the facelifts focus mainly on the exterior, the Escalade features a modern cabin with a 35-inch driver display and a 20-inch passenger display. There’s also a lower control screen, a new center console and higher-quality materials. Buyers will also find a semi-autonomous Super Cruise driving system as standard, as well as a 19-speaker audio system.

Another notable update for 2025 is a new Executive Second Row package. It adds a center console with a rear command display, two wireless smartphone chargers, and retractable tray tables. The package also includes two 12.6-inch displays and massaging seats with headrest-mounted speakers.

With the turbodiesel engine no longer in use, all mainstream variants are powered by a 6.2-liter V8 that develops 420 hp (313 kW / 426 PS) and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm) of torque. If that’s not enough, the turbocharged Escalade-V has 682 hp (508 kW / 691 PS) and 653 lb-ft (885 Nm) of torque.
