In what some are calling the “television moment of the year,” The repair shop was moved to tears as 12-year-old Colin was emotionally reunited with his beloved cat toy, Jess.

Colin was born with numerous serious health problems and endured countless hospital visits during his young life, but always found comfort in his beloved, cuddly cat, Jess.

Jess had seen better days, however. The toy had been by Colin’s side through every challenge and had his own “battle scars,” including tracheotomy and stoma incisions that reflected Colin’s own medical experiences.

Jess was in dire need of repairs, and Colin’s adoptive family turned to the experts at The Repair Shop to restore the beloved toy.

Specialists Amanda Middleditch and Julie Tatchell took on the task of giving Jess a much-needed makeover.

But what happened next exceeded all expectations. When Colin saw Jess in her former glory, he burst into tears of joy and sobbed while holding the cat tightly to his chest.

His reaction brought tears to everyone in the room, including Middleditch and Tatchell, who couldn’t help but share in the emotional moment.

Viewers across the country were equally moved.

X was flooded with heartfelt reactions from fans who couldn’t hold back their emotions.
