Superintendent Kathalee Cole recently announced the launch of the Lutie School District R-VI app by Edlio, now available for download on Apple, Android and Windows devices.
Cole says the school app gives parents, students, teachers and staff a way to stay connected and informed about what’s happening in the school district. Administrators can easily distribute consistent messages through the app for both emergency text messages and daily school communications.
“Everyone seems to have a smartphone. With this parent communications app, we can ensure that parents, students and staff have access to everything happening at school right from their phones. We know that family engagement is directly tied to student success, which is why this app will be so valuable to our community,” Cole said.
The app is free and gives parents, students and staff instant access to everything school-related, including calendars, directions to events, teacher and administrator contact information, important documents, cafeteria menus and more.
