Brevard is getting another Publix.
Palm Bay’s newest grocery store will be Brevard’s 26th Publix store. It will be a two-story version with seating upstairs.
This will be the third Publix in Brevard to feature the new two-story design. The other two are a renovated Publix in the Lake Washington area of Melbourne and a brand new Publix in Viera that opened in April.
Here’s what we know so far about the newest Space Coast Publix.
Where is the new Publix in Palm Bay?
The address is 9179 Babcock St. SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
It is located west of I-95 in the far south of the city. The newly developed area will also provide approximately 3,000 new homes.
What’s on the second floor of Publix?
All shopping is done on the first floor.
There is a dining area on the second floor where guests can enjoy their breakfast rolls or pub sandwiches, overlooking the first floor of the store.
When will the new Palm Bay Publix open?
This date has not yet been announced.
However, recruitment processes are currently underway and it is expected that the store will open in the next few months.
The last Publix opening in Brevard, in Viera, was greeted with great fanfare. An oversized Publix shopping cart drove around the area to announce the opening.
Seeing the giant shopping cart driving through the streets of Palm Bay is a sign that the new store is opening.
