Social media is full of never-ending hacks on every topic imaginable, but have you ever tried any of them?
A woman named Jasmine did just that and posted a video on TikTok about how it all worked out…or didn’t.
Jasmine heard about a viral hack that claimed travelers could get cheaper airline tickets by purchasing them directly at the airport instead of online, and she decided to give it a try.
Jasmine told viewers: “I go up there and tell a little lady I’m trying to buy some plane tickets because I heard it’s cheaper here than online. The lady said, ‘That’s not true.'”
The employee looked for tickets for Jasmine and told her that buying them through her was much more expensive than buying them online.
Jasmine said, “She told me the price and it was $500 more. $500 more! I was like, ‘It’s much cheaper online!’ The lady was laughing at me so much. I literally made the lady’s week and I was like, ‘This is not funny, Susan.'”
