Trump claims in bizarre press conference that Willie Brown said ‘terrible things’ about Kamala Harris

If Donald Trump wasn’t claiming he drew a larger audience than Dr. Martin Luther King at his rambling press conference on Thursday, he was also claiming that Kamala Harris’ mentor Willie Brown said “horrible things” about her, without elaborating on what those things were.

Did you see any of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s hour-long press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday? It included highlights such as Trump’s claim that he had a larger turnout at his inauguration than Martin Luther King Jr. did at his famous “I have a dream” speech in Washington, DC, in 1963.

But Trump also invoked former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown on Thursday, as Brown and now-Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris are known to have been a couple in the mid-1990s. And according to the KRON4 video below, Trump claimed Willie Brown told him “horrible things” about Kamala Harris.

It is true that Brown and Trump have had something of a relationship over the past few decades. The two made a cameo appearance together in the late 90s sitcom Suddenly Susanback when Trump announced his Home Alone 2: Lost in New York Cameo and Brown are Suddenly Princess Miniature.

“Well, I know Willie Brown very well,” Trump said during his press conference on Thursday. “In fact, I flew with him in a helicopter. We thought maybe this was the end. We were in a helicopter together on our way to a certain place.”

“And it was an emergency landing,” he added. “It wasn’t a pleasant landing, and Willie was, he was a little worried, so I know him, but I know him pretty well. I mean, I haven’t seen him in years.”

“I know him pretty well. I mean, I haven’t seen him in years.” But never mind…

“He told me terrible things about her,” Trump said, referring to Harris. “Anyway, I guess he had a big part in what happened with Kamala, but he… I don’t know, maybe he changed his mind. But he wasn’t a big fan of her back then.”

Needless to say, Trump did not elaborate on what these “horrible things” Brown allegedly said were, but simply moved on to the next topic that came to mind.

We are not aware of any derogatory comments made by Willie Brown about Kamala Harris. Well, maybe except for his recent interview with Politico, in which Brown joked that if Harris wins the presidential election, “she’ll deport me” and “maybe she’ll send me back to Mineola (Texas).”

“Sending me back to Texas would Be a behavior!” Brown added.
