Lil Wayne claims he acted in self-defense during the fight with his bodyguard and demands that the lawsuit be dismissed

Lil Wayne claims self-defense in the lawsuit brought against him by his former bodyguard.

In newly filed court documents, the rapper denies the claims of Carlos Christian. He sued Wayne at the time December 2023 about a late 2021 incident in which Weezy allegedly pointed a gun at Christian. He called the police after the argument, although the cash star denied the allegations. However, in his lawsuit, Christian stated that his former client had hit him on the ear while he was AR-15During this ordeal he feared he would be shot.

Wayne denies pulling out the gun but claims the altercation occurred so he could defend himself. Sources told TMZ that the argument stemmed from Wayne confronting Christian about allegedly taking photos and leaking them to the press. They also spoke out on Wayne’s behalf and denied that he even owned a gun.

“(Carlos’) claims are barred or reduced in whole or in part by (Carlos’) acts and/or negligence,” Wayne’s attorney wrote as part of their motion to dismiss.

Christian points to Wayne’s previous convictions for gun possession as evidence of his violent tendencies. Wayne was arrested in 2007 and was charged with one count of illegal possession of a firearm and one count of illegal possession of a loaded firearm. A judge has not yet decided on the release.
