Nick Foles has left his mark on several NFL teams throughout his career, but one team in particular stands out in his memory.

The quarterback praised his time with the Philadelphia Eagles and said it was the only place where he felt “at home.”

“In that locker room in Philadelphia, you could play for so long because of the brotherhood and everything that makes this city and this team,” Foles said on Green light with Chris Long. “Even when I look back on my career, I’m so thankful for the other teams I played for besides Philadelphia because they gave me the opportunity to play, they gave me the opportunity to be a part of their organization and their city, but when I look back on my career, Philadelphia was the only time I felt at home.”

The Eagles drafted Foles in the third round out of Arizona in 2012, and he played the first three seasons of his career in Philadelphia. After stints with the St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs, he returned to the Eagles in 2017 to play as a backup to Carson Wentz.

Wentz suffered a torn ACL in Week 14, and Foles was brought in at quarterback to finish the rest of the season. He established himself as an Eagles legend in the 2017 Super Bowl against the New England Patriots, when he threw 373 passes for three touchdowns and also caught a touchdown pass as Philadelphia executed the “Philly Special.”

After Foles’ time with the Eagles, he played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts, but his time in Philadelphia will always be remembered most.
