Bus diversions due to concrete work at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center in Olney will impact service on routes 52 and 53 starting Monday, August 26

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has announced that Ride On bus routes 52 and 53 in Olney will be detoured from August 26 to September 6, 2024 due to concrete work at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center.


Due to concrete work at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center in Olney, detours will be in place on Ride On bus routes 52 and 53 beginning Monday, August 26, through Friday, September 6, 2024. No stops will be affected.

Buses enter the hospital via Brooke Farm Drive and exit via the road to Prince Phillip Drive.

The Ride On bus costs just $1 and monthly passes cost $22.50 with SmarTrip, cash or tokens. Seniors age 65 and older, people with disabilities and youth under 18 ride free with special SmarTrip cards.
