LSU football fans can get dirt cheap tickets for the first home game

The college football season begins this Saturday, August 24, with what is known as Week Zero. There are a few games scheduled that Saturday, including the game between No. 10 Florida State and Georgia Tech in Ireland.

Another game that should catch your attention if you’re from Louisiana is the McNeese Cowboys of Lake Charles playing Tarleton this Saturday at 2:30 p.m., televised nationally on ESPN2.

The LSU Tigers football team will not play until Sunday, September 1, when it travels to Las Vegas to face USC. That game will also be televised nationally on ABC at 6:30 p.m. The Tigers are ranked No. 13 nationally in the AP poll, while USC is ranked No. 23.

The Tigers’ first home game won’t be until Saturday, September 7, 2024, when they host Nicholls from the Southland Conference, the same conference the McNeese Cowboys play in. The game will be played at Tiger Stadium and kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
