Fusion, an electronic health record (EHR) solutions provider, announced the implementation of its EHR system for the Ohio Department of Youth Services (DYS).

Fusion is now the sole EHR provider for state agencies that manage Ohio’s justice system, facilitating healthcare technology for adult correctional facilities and juvenile services.

According to the company, the new EHR, which went live on June 24, will provide DYS staff with a comprehensive platform for managing patient records, coordinating care and improving overall efficiency.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Ohio Department of Youth Services to the Fusion family,” said Bryan Jakovcic, founder and CEO of Fusion, in a statement. “This success is a testament to the strong partnership we have built with DYS and the hard work and dedication of our team. We look forward to continuing to support DYS in its mission to provide high-quality care to its youth who have committed crimes.”
