Jelly Roll announces album “Beautifully Broken” and releases single “Get By”

Jelly Roll has announced his upcoming 10th studio album, “Beautifully Broken,” which will be released on October 11th.

The album, named after his upcoming headlining tour, will include the singles “I Am Not Okay” and “Liar,” as well as the freshly released “Get By.” ESPN recently chose “Get By” as the anthem of the 2024 college football season. The singer, who is also known for his humanitarian work, will donate all net profits from every pre-order of the album on his website to various organizations that help people struggling with mental health and addiction issues.

“I look for songs that have a purpose,” he said of the album in an interview with The New York Times Magazine. “When I release a song under the name Jelly Roll, I ask myself: Why? Because for the first time in my life, it has nothing to do with a financial decision. I’m far from releasing anything for the money. Now it really is a why. Songs like ‘Winning Streak’ are a why.”

Jelly Roll has been on a roll since the release of his debut country album, Whitsitt Chapel, in June 2023. The project peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200—by far his highest charting position to date—and spawned several hits, including “Need a Favor” and “Save Me” featuring Lainey Wilson. He also earned trophies for New Artist of the Year at the CMA Awards and won in his three nomination categories at the CMT Music Awards.

Up next, Jelly Roll will kick off his extensive, nationwide “Beautifully Broken” tour on August 27 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. He plans to travel across the country before concluding his tour on November 23 at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.
