Nissan Sentra 2025 looks reasonable with a price of $21,590

  • Nissan has announced that the 2025 Sentra will start at $21,590.
  • This represents an increase of $410, although the price increases for higher-end variants are more moderate.
  • The model is currently on sale with minor changes.

Affordable sedans are becoming increasingly rare, but the Nissan Sentra continues to be a real looker. After a major update last year, the model heads into 2025 with minor changes and slightly higher prices.

Starting with the latter, the 2025 Sentra starts at $21,590. That’s a slight increase from its predecessor, which started at $21,180. While the entry-level S variant increases in price by $410, the mid-range SV variant is only $180 higher. The top-of-the-line SR, on the other hand, will be $320 more expensive.

Nissan didn’t have much to say about the car, but highlighted a new maintenance program. It offers customers up to three free oil changes within the first two years or 24,000 miles (38,624 km) of ownership.

The only other change appears to be a NissanConnect Services package for the SV. It costs $200 and adds app connectivity as well as access to a Wi-Fi hotspot.

While that’s not exactly exciting, the same goes for the entry-level Sentra S. It features halogen headlights and 16-inch steel wheels with stylized covers. Buyers will also find a 4.2-inch multi-information display, a 7-inch infotainment system and a four-speaker audio system. There’s also air conditioning and power windows and locks.

Although the model is relatively basic, it comes with a range of driver assistance systems, including intelligent cruise control, high beam assist and blind spot warning. Other highlights include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear cross traffic alert, rear automatic braking and lane departure warning.

The higher-end variants are significantly more luxurious and the top-of-the-range SR model has LED lighting units and 18-inch alloy wheels. There are also heated front seats, a six-speaker audio system, a larger 8-inch infotainment system and a 7-inch cluster display.

All Sentras feature a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 149 hp (111 kW / 151 PS) and 146 lb-ft (198 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a continuously variable Xtronic transmission that sends power to the front wheels.
